Daily Duties at Marshall Space Flight Center:
Co-Op Student from Auburn University I programmed one of Space Sciences lab’s first 3-D plotting routines and applied Bevington’s “Non-Linear Least Squares Fit to an Arbitrary Function” for many studies including comet Kohoutek light intensity vs. radial distance from the sun. I made in-situ surface measurements and programmed volume calculations in studies on the thermal conductivity of lunar soils.
