Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard:

IT Manager, Revenue Systems Global Support (1999-2003) Directed geographically-dispersed team of application support engineers who provided systems monitoring, tier 1/2/3 application support, code release, escalations, service requests, and staffing including all travel, training and performance reviews. Administered multi-million dollar budget. Managed Y2K contingency planning. • Achieved 100% data quality and reduced costs by developing metrics, tracking tools, and dashboards for continuous process improvement relating to GL close. • Delivered $2M in annual savings by restructuring workforce into lower-cost centers. • Directed successful systems and personnel transitions during Agilent spin-off. • Improved efficiency by instituting Service Request / Escalation process. • Established company’s Order to Cash Support and Order to Revenue Financial Close forums. • Improved database service request response times from three days to 30 minutes by creating new processes that also resolved large backlog of requests. Program later adopted at enterprise level. • Met all goals and objectives even during period of overall deteriorating business environment.
