Daily Duties at Itt Cannon:
: Build a new division from the ground. Teaming up with a sales person, the two of us started the North American division. I had to create all manufacturing and technical processes, as well as handle all technical sales. We were able to grow the division from $0 dollars to $6.5 million with staff in 3 years. I coordinated the rollout of a national training program for certification of the ITT Cannon structured cabling system that included all TIA / IEEE building standards and practices. My department managed a network of 98 installation companies across the country, and supplied engineering support for all cable system design and installations. My department also provided technical support for all national and local salespeople. I became a voting member of the EIA/TIA sub-committees 568 A and B as well as most TSB standards.
