Daily Duties at Things Remembered:
Promoted to oversee progressively larger volume stores within the district. Enforced sound merchandising and loss prevention policies. Executed corporate programs, promotions and policies, and drove associate productivity and optimal customer satisfaction. Excelled in building and motivating management and hourly teams. Advanced to increasingly responsible appointments, including Regional Trouble-Shooter, Technical Trainer and Regional Training Manager. Selected Achievements: ▫ Developed many entry-level associates to leadership positions and quickly became one of the primary trainers of new store managers across the district. ▫ Propelled multiple stores to #1 in sales, visuals and customer satisfaction district-wide while simultaneously lowering shrink and staff turnovers. ▫ Achieved “Best of the Best” ranking in 1995 and 1997 as a result of superior sales, profit, shrink control and customer satisfaction results.
