Daily Duties at Borders Group Inc.:
Planned, developed and launched a new café, which included the creation of marketing plans and cost analysis. Established sales goals, managed budgets and devised sales forecasts while working with store managers, corporate and outside vendors to ensure merchandise changes aligned with sales patterns. Rapidly achieved corporate goals and refocused to resolve challenging sales and personnel issues. Selected Achievements: ▫ Maintained double digit increases over Café sales plan while store ran in double digit deficits. ▫ Developed and implemented Christmas holiday merchandising strategy for entire store. ▫ Assisted with multiple new store openings.
