I worked independently and under physician direction to provide care to emergency patients with a wide variety of complaints. I supervised Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in the execution of their duties. I ordered medical supplies and medications for the department. I also managed patients in an attached post-operative observation unit following single-day surgery procedures.
