Daily Duties at Metrics, Inc.:
In my position as Quality Assurance Manager for Manufacturing, I supervise a group of 6 individuals who all provide QA support to pharmaceutical operations. In addition, I am, of course, heavily involved in ensuring that the current production scheduling is adhered to by communicating frequently with production and my group members and providing QA support at all times. Since my employment with Metrics, there have been five FDA inspections, all of which I helped host and facilitate, with no FDA 483s. My experience at Metrics has afforded me the opportunity to become familiar with many areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging, as it is a small company and I am responsible for all areas of QA support of pharmaceutical operations. I also have extensive experience in hosting and responding to client audits, change control, and validation activities.
