Daily Duties at University Of Maryland Greenbaum Cancer Center (Umgcc):
*Coordinating and leading activities of Nurses, Research Technicians, Regulatory Coordinators, Clinical Research Coordinators/Associates, and Data Managers to ensure compliance with office, University, Institutional Review Board and FDA guidelines and policies. *Recruiting hiring, scheduling, and performing annual performance reviews of all Clinical Research Office personnel. *Collaborating with upper level administrators, physicians, and other directors within the business unit and throughout the campus in order to ensure the delivery of high quality service and patient care. *Reviewing annual departmental expenditures to maintain administrative operating processes and procedures. *Negotiating, reviewing and/or assisting with industry sponsored clinical trial budgets. *Reviewing charges for patients enrolled onto clinical trials (as necessary) to ensure adherence to the laws and regulations governing billing practices. *Developing, implementing, and maintaining departmental policies, procedures, and programs to assure cohesive and effective operations.
