On assignment at the House of Representatives: Maintained the 435 members of the house and their 24 committees account information on a filing system, and electronic database. Filed office receipts and correspondance daily. Received and deposited flag check orders for flags to be flown over the capitol. Constructed and updated sales booklets that featured items sold in the House of Representatives office supply store. Received orders for purchases made over the phone, answered multi-line switchboard. Greeted and welcomed vistors, directing them to appropriate personnel. Distributed mail, received inventory, checked I.D.’s, and assisted with over flow work.
