Daily Duties at Electronic Data Systems:

Brought on as a VOLT employee on a long-term contract with EDS and Weyerhaeuser Company and offered permanent position with EDS operating large continuous roll-feed production printers using RUMBA software. Printed large volume reports and payroll. Managed workloads to meet commitments. Serviced and maintained printers. Set printer to print, consolidate and cut sheets in various formats.  Increased the efficiency of mailing by co-developing a labeling program that printed onto sticky labels.  Implemented an individual work routine that eliminated redundancies in report handling procedures.  Significantly reduced service charges from vendors by independently fixing mechanical printer problems. THEN: Progressed to a position of increased responsibility maintaining IT systems of two data centers for a global IT contracting company. Managed system and software installations, reconfigurations and rebuilds and RAID configurations. Interfaced continuously with Networking, Planning and Windows Support groups to verify and maintain customer needs. Resolved server issues at both data centers. Utilized Remedy management software.
