Daily Duties at Mulitple Zones International, Inc:

Created an inventory control department including hiring and training seven individuals that would be responsible for inventory of over $500M at several state locations. Established and maintained an expense budget in excess of $180K. Co-designed security policies and procedures regarding all physical inventories, lowering inventory losses by $100K per quarter. Reconciled RMA logs of product shipped against credit received from vendors including vendor refusals, price variances, reverse price projections, and shock adjustments. Organized and implemented processes for managing receiving discrepancies from vendors which saved over $300K monthly. Compiled sales and production data to design purchase forecasting schedules allowing for better use of volume purchases with scheduled release dates. Implemented processes for freight claims on shortage and/or damaged freight allowing for increased accountability of active claims and decreased recovery time for each claim by at least one month. Analyzed adjustment trends on inventory transactions then created new stocking procedures and receiving practices to reduce inventory loss and mis-shipments to customers. Received and updated all procedures for customer returns for consistency and accuracy. Decreased processing time of customer returns. Resolved customer issues for missing or shorted shipments due to freight claims or incorrect shipment.
