Daily Duties at Step Ahead Pediatrics:
Designed, implemented, and maintained LAN for small business. Utilized Microsoft Exchange Server for email and essential office efficiency offered in Outlook 2007. Managed a 12 computer network of wireless laptops and wired desktops, running Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. Performed ALL memory, hardware, and software upgrades, including testing to ensure network interoperability. Performed ALL analysis and higher level design for a complete practice management solution, utilizing SQL Server 2008 to handle all operations of the medical clinic. This included a secure therapy provider daily note data store, from which data was gleaned for complete HIPAA-compliant electronic claims lifecycle processing, while ensuring accurate medical claim data to facilitate prompt collection of all provider fees due and accurate accounting. Managed a multi-disciplinary team to ensure company efficiency. Utilized Zone Alarm security software for antivirus, firewall, spyware, and internet download protection. Reported financial health of corporation to CEO and other board members. Used QuickBooks Premier-Nonprofit Edition 2009 for account management, payroll, credit card/merchant processing, invoicing, accounts receivable, aging, and budgeting.
