•Instruct physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on use of the EPIC medical records system. •Counsel patients on diabetes, lipid, hypertension, anticoagulation, and smoking cessation. •Educate pharmacy students through the course of their clinical pharmacy rotation. •Precept Working Professional PharmD students for their advanced clinical clerkship rotation. •Orient pharmacy exchange students on ambulatory care practices in the United States. •Assist in the instruction of a clinical skills lab course including delivering a lecture, and assisting in hands on lab instruction. •Develop case studies for discussion with pharmacy students. •Lead clinical journal club discussions. •Perform research focused on the above disease states. •Write an article on this research that will be published in a peer reviewed journal. •Provide assistance to physicians in answering questions regarding drug therapy and disease management. •Work with patients and insurance companies to help decrease medication costs. •Build and edit a collaborative practice agreement protocol to be used in multiple indigent care clinics focusing on the subjects of anticoagulation, diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, and smoking cessation.
