Daily Duties at Children's Medical Center:
Actively supervise the Pediatric Expertise, Education, and Retention with Support program, from reviewing participant applications and interviewing candidates to providing study support and hosting informational sessions for new members. Facilitate productive relationships with program participants, departments and local colleges to foster an encouraging and supportive environment to promote academic success. Effectively manage a broad range of administrative activities, including tracking program expenditures, maintaining program website and updating database of PEERS participants. Spearhead the research and development of program improvements, including tutoring, lectures, computer-based training, formal/informal events, guest speakers, and feedback sessions.
