 Assisted Audit Committee in its fiduciary responsibilities and ensured all requirements of charter were completed  Prepared and updated risk assessments, annual audit and SOX testing plans, departmental budgets, and coordinated internal and outsourced resources to complete annual risk-based audit plans on time and within budget  Directed the completion of financial audits, internal control audits, IT audits, and special projects  Directed the execution of management's assessment of internal controls for SOX 404 and 302 compliance  Reported results of all audits, including recommendations, to division and senior management, the Audit Committee, and the external auditors and followed up on all recommendations to ensure satisfactory remediation  Presented results of audit activities vs. plan at quarterly Audit Committee meetings  Hired, evaluated, managed, developed, and supervised the activities of three internal audit staff and utilized over 50 "temporary auditors" from throughout the Company's finance function to assist with audits  Provided direct assistance to external auditors resulting in $92,000 reduction in audit fees  Reviewed all SEC filings, 10-K’s, 10-Q’s and 8-K’s and recommended edits and changes
