Project Accountant Completed accounting tasks for 11 apartment properties. •Submitted accurate financial statements for assigned properties according to State deadlines •Performed general ledger review and cleaned up expense postings to ensure compliance with State guidelines •Audited properties to ensure internal controls were followed when entering cash receipts and tenant data after fraud had been detected by management •Improved internal accuracy and controls by training site staff on how to use company’s accounting software and review tenant ledgers
