Daily Duties at International Greetings Usa:
I assist the Purchasing Manager as well other managers and their departments in resolving problems. I prepare documentation, payment requests & authorize payment for national & international vendors, analyze past buying trends & sales records, introducing new products to lower production cost. Purchasing and monitoring MRO for our production; meeting and negotiating prices with current and new vendors; compiling information and records to prepare purchase orders. Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material is on hand in sufficient quantity. Consults catalogs and interviews suppliers to obtain prices and specifications. Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments. Compare prices, specifications and delivery dates; creating product structure; accurate work orders; production projections and schedule for labor requirements utilizing the AS 400; monitoring stock levels and all aspects of production to ensure customer satisfaction and deadlines are met. Provided English and German translation for machine parts purchase from various vendors.
