TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT o Discuss client needs and objectives. Formulate and present solutions for software, hardware & training packages that will fulfill a client’s needs for the following areas: 1. Accounting Applications 2. Network Design, Installation & Support 3. Network Security Solutions 4. Microsoft Network Environments 5. Microsoft Internet & Mail Applications 6. Internet Firewall & Security Solutions 7. Multi-User/Multi-Tasking Operating Environments 8. Office Productivity Solutions 9. Database Management Systems. Act as a liaison between client and software/hardware developers NETWORK/PC INSTALLER & SUPPORT TECHNICIAN o Install & Support - File Servers, Workstations, Print Servers, Routers, Switches, Fire Walls, Gateways & VPN. o Remote Control Gateways for support & secure employee access. o Provide on-site, remote & telephone support for these various functions. o Disaster Recovery Services o Design & Implement Gateway/Firewall/VPN Solutions SOFTWARE INSTALLATION & SUPPORT o Install, setup & support the following operating systems & applications: 1. Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME 2. Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP Pro, Vista. 3. Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server 4. Windows Small Business Server 4.0, 4.5, 2000 & 2003. 5. Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, 2000 & 2003 6. Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0 & 5.0 7. Microsoft Internet Acceleration Server & Firewall. 8. Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP, 2003 & 2007 Small Business & Professional Editions. 9. Other various windows applications. 10. Setup printers & other peripherals to take full use of the applications. o Work with software & hardware vendors to debug applications on networks, consulting in the setup & maintenance of business specific applications.
