Daily Duties at Food Lion, Inc:
Purchased 2100+ grocery/health/beauty care products to be sold in the Company's 1100 stores. Purchased inventory for nine distribtion centers throughout the United States. Forecasted and managed inventory of highly seasonal products. Met regularly with 15+ salesmen and food brokers to devise programs and promotions to increase company sales. Negotiated transportation frieght rates with suppliers. Recomended to upper management new products to be sold in Company stores.
