 Managed Plant Manager’s hectic personal and professional calendar on Outlook.  Worked with many interruptions.  Interacted with the UAW Officers and their staff and was respected.  Handled highly sensitive documents (i.e. salaries, restructuring, layoffs).  Intermediary between manufacturing floor and Plant Manager’s office.  Arranged travel for business travel and his personal vacations, expense reports, lease car program, event planner; organized and chaired special event activities; hosted visits by Dieter Zetsche, President of DaimlerChrysler, Governors and Senators of the States of Missouri and Illinois, hosted celebrity visits for plant tours; - Pre-arranged plant town hall meetings with 1,500 to 3,200 in attendance; depending on subject matter. - Placed cameras where media cameras and media personal would stand. - Communicated with media asking for pre-arranged questions giving to appropriate person, so they were prepared.  Actively worked with Public Relations when arranging interviews for television and radio stations.  Responsible for annual budget, set by corporate, to contribute monetary donations for non-profit organizations. It was a detailed process with visits to organization and talking about needs and then going over the process of submitting their application for consideration.  Maintained an efficient environment for the Plant Manager, so his focus continued on fixing plant issues, achieving the daily build, and assuring a quality product was being shipped.
