Promoted to a new management position, in charge of turning around a poorly performing market segment of the organization involving 45 service products and 16 countries in the Middle East and Gulf, Red Sea, India and Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Full responsibility for every step of the Supply Chain, including sales, volumes, revenues and operations of 13 branch offices across US and supervision of over 60 employees. Establish strategic partnership and negotiate contracts with major clients, working collaboratively with sales, logistics, finance and IT divisions to determine service strategies, execute new launches, and expand current markets. Report to Senior Vice President. • Delivered outstanding sales results in just 10 months; improving service revenues from $4 million to $9 million, increasing market share by 15%, enhancing overall volumes by 85%. Improving world ranking from # 4 to the # 1 position in Middle East and Red Sea areas, and from # 9 to the # 2 position in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. • Expanded the India market to cover 55 different points of sales, shifted operations of 4 inlands depots to allow cost effective and accessible freight delivery. Closed contracts with major customers in the metal, plastic, clothing, paper and forestry divisions, leading to 236% increase in container volumes over 1 year. • Successfully launched 4 brand new services in India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, with additional projected revenues estimated to reach $1 million within the first year. • Envisioned and implemented a market-based pricing structure that removes the complexities of service pricing and provides individual Service Managers with precise, immediate, market-level, large-scale pricing information. • Initiated and executed nearly 60 selling agreements, which increased company’s sales by more $1 million. These results were delivered despite strong competition from players with superior services in a highly saturated marketplace.
