Daily Duties at Motorola, Inc:

Responsible for the management of payment activity for all Motorola shipments in the Americas accounting for over $500M/month, as well as the operating budget of the transportation totaling $39.4M. Also, the strategic planning and implementation of improved processing models and customer initiatives including, but not limited to on-line invoicing and payment, EDI transmission of invoice data and payment data, and the employee development of 14 staff members. Reduced the number of exception items handled each day from 2,200 to less than 30. Evaluated, tested and implemented the conversion to a new payment processor. Negotiated a better payment terms contract with several large carriers. (Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, etc.)
