Daily Duties at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield:
Responsible for preparing multi-million dollar interim expenditure reports to be submitted to the Federal Government on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Supported operational management by conducting trend analysis, variance analysis, cost accounting research in Oracle General Ledger. Bench-Mark analysis to compare cost of operations against competitors. Provided ad hoc reporting, financial forecasts, modeling and complex analysis of overhead allocation methodology. Chosen by management to lead project to design SQL based financial forecasting tool to allow for detailed collection of expense information to be combined with budget data to project year end financial results.
