Daily Duties at Elan:
Consulted with pain management physicians on the use of Prialt, a non opioid biological drug used intrathecally for Medtronic pumps. Call points are Pain Management and Oncologists, Neurosurgeons, Orthopedic Spine Surgeons, C-level administrators, Operating Rooms, Hospitals and VA, Moffitt Cancer. • Actively participated in OR surgical procedures such as spinal intrathecal pump procedures with neurosurgeons. • Drove sales in a start-up territory from zero to $240,000 in first year, accruing $394,000 the following year. • Achieved 112%, 134% and 139.1% regional sales growth (for own territory while managing). • Promoted to management position in 1/2007 direct responsibility for six field representatives. • Ranked 2 of 12 nationally overall in management all field representatives finished 1st to 6th in top 10. • Competencies include formulary/protocol acceptance, product reimbursement “buy and bill model”, managed care, GPO’S & IDN’s.
