512th Aerospace Medical Squadron Work Values

Daily Duties at 512th Aerospace Medical Squadron:

• Functional manager for multiple Health Service Inspection (HSI) programs that are vital to the success of the organization • Developed and continuously updates database to track EMT-Basic qualifications for medical technicians ensuring successful recertification and prevent manpower losses • Supervise and mentor individuals to achieve personal and professional success • Responsible for Flight Medicine clinic operations ensuring office and exam rooms are prepared for patients, oversees technicians and directs patients throughout physical examination process • Provides and directs clinical medicine and medical administrative support to the aerospace medicine physicians • Conducts all paraprofessional aspects of flying and non-flying physical examinations to ensure maximum wartime readiness for the 1800+ Traditional Reservists assigned to the 512th AirliftWing • Performs medical records review and administration to ensure timely identification and removal of those individuals who no longer meet the medical standards for continued military • Served as Secretary for the monthly aerospace medical council meetings
