Assigned newly reported claims and handle them to conclusion. Some of the claims were attorney representived, or in litigation status. Set reserves for potential costs with knowledged known of the potential exposure for both indemnity and expenses. Developed a Plan of Action and worked with claimants; they attorneys, or defense counsel should the file alrady be in litigated status. Adhere to Claims Best Practices. Developed litigation plan with staff or panel counsel, including discovery; future legal expense. Attend Mandatory Mediations, Settlement Conferences or Aritrations within the Tri-State Area. Analyzed and evaluated bodily injury claims from minor to complexity concerns. Monitored trial for feedback to both the defense counsel and the insured. Prepared written and oral updated to appropriate parties involved in monitoring the file.
