Daily Duties at University Of Kentucky:

I developed a relationship between the Center for Manufacturing and the UK Emergency Department. I developed a current state map of the ED accounting for patient flow, processes, and variability. Based upon the current state map developed a simulation of the ED using Simul8 software. The simulation model will help highlight inefficiencies, thus helping to improve patient flow by reducing patient throughput time while maintaining high quality.
