Daily Duties at Glaxosmithkline:

GLAXOSMITHKLINE (GSK), NC OCTOBER 02 – FEBRUARY 04 PROJECT MANAGER: Environment: M/Frame S/390, Win NT, XP, Client/Server, Web-based, E-Commerce, CFR Part 11 • Managed and coordinated the installation and migration of the SAP MERPS system (from a Sun/Solaris/UNIX/Oracle platform to an IBM/S390/zOS/AIX/DB2 platform). • Interacted with IBM’s technical and management teams and GSK's QA team in the UK to monitor the project. • Applied mitigation solutions to control anticipated trouble areas. • Project followed FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 regulations for the storing of data, electronic records and electronic signatures. PROJECT MANAGER: Environment: Sun/Solaris/UNIX/Oracle, IBM/S390/zOS/AIX/DB2, ERP, SAP data migration, • Managed the MERPS Extended Disaster Recovery infrastructure project in collaboration with IBM to ensure a flawlessly operational failover site. • Managed Risk Mitigation measures to make the failover site operational. • Also managed the installation of the AIX operating system, SAP and 3rd party software on DR Servers at the failover site. • Monitored SLAs agreed upon with IBM.
