Daily Duties at Tolt Service Group:
Developed and managed the infrastructure support operation targeting meat wrapping and weighing equipment throughout 5 states in the southeast U.S. Assembled a service team of 25 technicians and 3 support personnel. Significant Accomplishments • Substituted salvage parts during a 4-month period of supplier downtime. • Enhanced team productivity, facilitating a reduction in overtime from 40% to near 6%. • Identified less expensive parts options that cut expenses 67%. Expanded Duties General Management Roles Analyzed service call reports to improve efficiency, reduce down time, and improve team focus. Provide cost analyses for serviced equipment and team expansion. Tracked technician performance using GPS, time management software, and maintenance ticket system. Orchestrated equipment deliveries, installations, maintenance, and repairs. Collaborated with customers on equipment needs and service issues, covering key accounts such as Kroger, Food Lion, and Winn-Dixie. Developed and mentored team leads in technical services and logistics support. Reported to and acted as designated alternate for Regional Manager. Technical Roles Developed and provided training on all processes and procedures. Provided 24 x 7 phone technical support to field technicians. Established, directed, and assisted in bench maintenance program to reduce spare parts costs. Wrote, edited, tested, and delivered procedures and training on all serviced equipment. Acquired and distributed technical documentation through manufacturer relationships. Logistics Roles Sourced and procured spare parts, and allocated to field and depot as necessary. Managed supplier relationships. Conducted asset tracking on equipment under service. Managed shipping, receiving, and reallocation of spare parts. Coordinated warranty parts service with vendors. Serviced Equipment Provided training, remote technical support, and acted as systems expert in motors, sensors, PLC, scales, proprietary network equipment, thermal printers, serial communications devices, cabling, touch screens, scale servers, scale software, and 240VAC automated packing, labeling, and wrapping equipment.
