Daily Duties at Cyprus Telecommunications Authority:

Provided high-level administrative support to the General Manager and Board of Directors of Cyta a semi-government organization established with the aim of providing, maintaining and developing a comprehensive telecommunications service, both nationally and internationally. Cyta is considered to be the leading provider of integrated electronic communications services in Cyprus. • Coordination in maintaining relationships with other International organizations. • Observation of European and International developments in all fields (political, social etc but particularly in the field of telecommunications and technology. • Responsibility of studying, maintaining an archive and distributing all material received from International organizations to appropriate Units/Departments within the organization for their prompt handling. • Creation and coordination in maintaining a database with contact details of individuals, organizations and companies both locally and internationally. • Undertaking the responsibility of organizing seminars, debates, press conferences and large conferences. • Offering crucial support to Units/Departments within the organization in contacting foreign companies/organizations and collecting desired information. • Compilation of itinerary of visits and contacts for the Management and members of the Board during their business trips abroad. • Coordination in the organization of the company’s cultural and other events. • Full responsibility in coordinating and managing all sponsorships given by the organization in order to promote the company’s image towards its public.
