Daily Duties at Qwest Corporation:
Acted as technical resource, advocate and liaison to MCI, offering value-added service by developing network solutions and supporting their business requirements. Managed MCI’s (Verizon Business) network optimization project of DS1’s and DS3’s across the Qwest 14 state territory, which included negotiating and initializing a trial to increase the volume of work. Jointly, with my customer, managed the Federal Telecommunication Services 14 states wide. Presented technical product information to customers and account team. Researched and provide information on processes, Tariffs, SGAT’s and technical publications. Proposed and completed the sale of OC12’s, OC24’s and an OC192. Escalated major outages, provided root cause analysis and reporting.
