Daily Duties at Health Vantage:

HEALTH VANTAGE, INC. ~ Houston, TX 1993 ñ 1997 Nationally recognized and respected healthcare consultancy with 100+ nationwide accounts. PRESIDENT/FOUNDER Provided management consulting services for health, wellness, rehabilitation, and sports medicine programs to a variety of high-profile organizations. Clients included more than 75 hospitals, healthcare, and holistic and alternative health institutions, more than 20 multi-recreational health clubs, and several equipment manufacturers with sales as high as $250M. Developed and implemented capitated corporate preventive health programs to interface with managed care plans. Oversaw day-to-day operations and decision making in all business areas. Selected achievements include: * The Sporting Club at Cherry Creek: Retained to manage all aspects of business, program, and personnel management. Orchestrated service turnaround, enabling the firm to institute its first fee increase in 10 years. * ValleyCare Health System: Consulted with executive team and board of directors in identifying and recommending programs and satellite services to boost revenues and patient numbers. Led to position as Director of Outpatient Services. * Business Development: Rapidly developed relationships with small, medium, and large healthcare institutions across the country. Traveled extensively to client accounts in CA, CO, LA, MS, TX, OK, MO, FL, AL, TN, AR, VA, GA, WI, IL, PA, NJ, OH, CT, ID, and KY. * Contract Negotiations: Personally secured contracts that brought in up to $750,000 in annual billing.
