Daily Duties at Fidelity Life Insurance Company:
• Proven track record of overturning 80% of the declines and table ratings from the reinsurer. • Extensive telephone contact with outside brokers, producers, agents and investment managers. • Responsible for the execution of all 1035 exchanges, surrenders, and resubmissions. • Ability to underwrite 80-100 cases simultaneously across three different underwriting disciplines. • Responsible for the creation and implementation of concise underwriting manual and medical matrix. • Responsible for troubleshooting issues with existing policy holders. • Reduced underwriting time from six months to less than two months by creating a solid list of procedures, and undertaking a complete re-training of the underwriting staff with a concentration in advanced risk assessment, MIB techniques, IR and APS evaluation. • Approval ability up to table 22 with 1 million premium cap and 25M reinsurance cap.
