Daily Duties at Central Church Of Christ:
Prepare weekly sermons and lessons for a congregation of about 700 members. Oversee the total ministry and budget of the church. Supervise, evaluate and provide direction whenever needed for 9 paid staff members. Recruit, train and supervise volunteer staff members. Assess needs, develop goals and implement strategies in order to meet established goals. Provide counseling and pastoral care, call on members and prospects, officiate funerals and weddings; etc. Also served as a part-time chaplain at local hospital.
