Daily Duties at Michigan State University:
• Established the analytical method for detecting the trace level pheromones in the stream water by using LC/MS/MS and solid-phase extraction. • Isolated and purified the bile acids released by larval sea lamprey with HPLC and interpreted the structure with NMR and MS. • Profiling of pheromones in plasma and tissues of sea lamprey by LC/MS/MS. • Established a method for testing the purity of the synthesized compounds by using NMR and HPLC with UV and ELSD as detectors.
