•Performed all desktop support related tasks in previous positions. •Submitted employee performance appraisals on a biannual basis. •Reviewed and initialed evaluation and recommendation request forms for new computer equipment based on department need. •Worked with vendors and purchasing department to control costs on new and upgraded equipment. •Coordinated the company-wide upgrade of about 1000 users from CC Mail to Outlook 2000 for our Microsoft Exchange rollout. This project was going to be outsourced to a turnkey operation, but I persuaded the VP that our department could achieve the same goal with fewer technicians. The resulting savings to the company was $70,000. •Retained 100% of my staff during a year of high turnover in the industry
