Daily Duties at Bullock And Associates:
Supervised the preparation of plans/specifications for drainage and utility relocations in the City of Los Angeles right-of-way for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Design-Build project which is Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) funded. The 10-mile long project is to add a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane to Northbound I-405, from approximately I-10 to US-101. Performed project coordination and attending weekly project status meetings with the prime engineering consultant (HNTB) and contractor (Kiewit); along with Task Force meetings with the other design consultants, the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering (LABOE), County of Los Angeles Dept. of Public Works (LACDPW) and various utility companies. The work also included monitoring project production for compliance with schedule and budget objectives. Monitored client billings and assisting with obtaining client payment.
