Daily Duties at Springs Industries:
Supervised production shifts up to 70 associates in textile manufacturing, achieving excellent associate relations, low turnover, and high efficiencies with an excellent safety record in an OSHA STAR facility. Managing the Quality, Supply/Purchasing, and Planning departments I assisted in ensuring quality products reached the customer, timely and efficient production, reduced total supply room value by $1 million, and implementing a label purchasing project that saved $250,000 per year. Directed the local plant activities for the corporate implementation of JDEdwards’ enterprise resource planning system. Selected Contributions: -VPP and Safety Team Chairman -Cost Reduction -Plant contact point for ERP implementation and training -Managed MRO and raw material inventory and purchasing, production inventories
