• Responsibilities included conducting discovery, drafting documents such as judicial subpoenas, indictments and other motions, researched various case law, engaged in plea negotiations with pro se defendants and defense attorneys in General Sessions Criminal Court and Juvenile Court, conducted preliminary hearings as well as a sentencing hearing, and worked with victims, witnesses, and officers on a weekly basis. Moreover, I prosecuted a jury trial for Driving Under the Influence which resulted in a guilty verdict.
