Daily Duties at United Health Group:
• Negotiating Medicare contracts with providers in new markets (providers include hospital, physician and ancillary) • Reviewing financial viable data and to determine the type of proposals needed for global Medicare expansion opportunities nationally • Developing project management plans and supervising the Medicare /CMS application process from start to finish with UnitedHealth Networks in various national markets • Developing the network within the Medicare service expansion market and transferring to UnitedHealth Networks to maintain the territory • Facilitating conference calls to discuss strategies and continued network development growth in assigned Medicare markets • Establishing and maintaining a tracking system for all physician, facility, and ancillary contracts • Working with network data management to ensure that contracts are loaded correctly and properly assigned to designated national market team
