ROMAIN AUTOMOTIVE GROUP (a division of United Companies) – Evansville, IN Sales Manager – Saturn of Evansville (2008 -2010) Promoted to Saturn Sales Manager with responsibility for directing a sales team of 4 sales associates and 1 Internet sales representative. Also responsible for inventory management, hiring qualified applicants, constructing and following detailed paths to the sale. ▪ Credited for highest number of Saturn deliveries in one month (9/2008) with 53 new Saturn’s delivered. ▪ Set a new record for average gross profit in a single month ($2,400). ▪ Personally averaged 31 new Saturn sales per month, generating $2,080 in front end gross profit ($2,705 combined front and back end). ▪ Awarded outstanding sales manager for 2009 for deliveries and gross profit per unit within United Companies. ▪ Streamlined the contract-in-transit process, shortening the time for deal funding from 13 days to 5 days, saving approximately $30,000/month. Finance and Insurance Manager (2005 – 2008) Presented retail installment contracts to customers with financial choices, including but not limited to rate, term, and aftermarket product additions. ▪ Negotiated financial arrangements with banks and lending institutions based upon credit profiles, and maintained superior lender relations. ▪ Introduced sub-prime financing to the dealership; provided full range of financing options to prime, near-prime, and sub-prime customers, fully disclosing contracts professionally and accurately. ▪ Evaluated credit bureaus (Trans Union, Equifax and Experian) to determine credit worthiness and fit within lending institutions’ parameters, to place loans.
