Daily Duties at Workscape:

Business Development / Project Management • Worked closely with Senior HR Managers at clients and determined client/server web based solutions for supporting the benefits administration for their employees and mapped benefit eligibility rules into functional specifications. • Led the conversion from flat file to EDI format to be able to send HIPAA compliant files to benefit providers. This involved gathering trading partner agreements, developing specifications, data mapping and systems testing and adhering to ANSI X12 834 v4010 rules. • Managed the implementation for a web based benefit enrollment system for BBWI, to allow over 5000 employees to enroll in benefits for plan year 2004 and 2005. Designed and tested new web screens, database schemas and confirmation statements. • Coordinated the implementation of Crystal Enterprise 9.0 for both TYCO and SPHERION. This required creating data repositories, configuring new platforms, migrating to new servers, designing reports, and providing training to end users. Quality Assurance / Testing • Interfaced with project managers and software developers to resolve technical issues and delivered quality software according to project plans. Participated in design reviews and helped functional documentation. • Served as Lead QA Analyst during development life cycle and created detailed test plans, determined test conditions, created test cases, established testing environments as well as implemented issue tracking and reporting procedures. • Performed data analysis using SQL by developing advanced queries for analyzing payroll and benefit data in Oracle databases. Prepared process flow diagrams on the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) to help with testing.
