Daily Duties at Mta New York City Transit:

• Provided general administrative support for four managing directors. • Coordinated with Employment Services Department to ensure completion of hiring and promotional packets, including applicant’s paperwork, benefits enrollment, termination paperwork and government regulated forms and mailings. • Prepared new hire and promotional packets. Coordinated verification and offer letters • Responded to all requests for employment verifications and dependent add-ons. • Scanned, indexed and updated employment documentation including applications and I-9's. • Maintained Human Resource records, HRIS database, programs and guidelines for recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management, training, affirmative action/EEO, benefits and organizational development. • Initiated and participated in the full life cycle of projects from start up through the final stage and implementation. Handled multiple projects, meeting all assigned deadlines. • Enrolled and terminated COBRA, Active and Retired Plan Participants. Ensured primary members and dependents met benefits eligibility and produced audit reports as required. • Participated in preparation of UI appeals and prepared supporting arguments. • Initiated, developed, launched, and managed quality assurance and compliance control surveys to ensure social services organization compliance with MTA policies. • Maintained basic administrative duties such as data entry inclusive of verification and reconciliation; bonded new applicants, e-verify and coordinated background check. • Researched, tracked and followed-up employee drivers’ license data. Assured reporting of updated and accurate D/L information and injunctions on PeopleSoft database. • Served as a liaison between MTA and License Monitor vendor. Integrated employee D/L information to License Monitor’s system.
