Daily Duties at Dauphin County Victim Witness Assistance Office Juvenile Division:
Gained experience in the field of victim advocacy within the criminal justice system. Updated the agency’s policy and procedures manual as well as compiled a cross training manual to be used to train adult unit advocates in the office procedures of the juvenile unit and vice versa. Also responsible for secretarial duties in the juvenile unit including opening case files, updating clients on the status of their cases through letters, and updating probation officers on client restitution claims for juveniles on their caseload.
