Conducted plan reviews for new construction. Inspected local businesses and industrial facilities for fire and building code violations. Assisted OSHA with inspections of local complaints at industrial facilities dealing with egress, HAZMAT, and fire protection issues. Provided local fire safety training to local businesses, industry, and civic organizations. Audited hazardous waste treatment and storage facilities for environmental and safety violations. Provided local government with environmental scenarios for specific environmental hazards and how they might impact the community using Plume Modeling and Census/ Geographical data to develop multi-agency emergency action plans for the community.
