Daily Duties at Delphi:
Supervised 12 advisors and 2 senior advisors in a Business Unit with 370 hourly employees on a 3 shift operation who were responsible for producing 188 different Mini Wedge door latches. • Created and established a level schedule system for the business unit which became the benchmark system for the plant. • Created a pull system that mirrored the level schedule for the sub assembly area which fed into the final assembly area. • Standardized the change over time at the final assembly area. Reduced changeover time by 58% which resulted in 8% more production time per shift. • Established the training method to teach all business unit employees both salary and union the new level schedule, pull system, and changeover method resulting in a standardized method of operation for the three shifts of production.
