Daily Duties at Delphi:
In charge of the planning of production runs for a business Unit with 100 employees working 2 shifts while supervising 2 Salary Logistics analysts who maintained an inventory of $6M dollars a month. Responsibilities included meeting the plant inventory goals; handling of all supplier receipt issues; and implementation of engineering changes for purchase parts. • Successfully completed the transition of all purchase parts from the Columbus plant to the New Mexico plant which involved the shipping and transferring of over $12M of inventory from the Columbus Plant to the Mexican plant. • Planned and executed the transition of the building of required 6 month finished good bank sizes while maintaining the current build requirements for two plants which resulted in the successful closing of these plants. • Planned and executed the successful transition of building a 1 to 5 year bank of past model service parts. • Partnered with suppliers to make sure they were meeting their ship to schedules which allowed plant to complete the required transition bank builds with 11 months of supplies in a 5 month period. • Successfully reduced the Columbus plants purchase part inventory from $6.5M to $5.8M, a reduction of 11%. • Identified and corrected schedules and over shipments which reduced the Vandalia purchase part inventory for the E2 cell by 30% in a four month period.
