Daily Duties at 3 Day Blinds:

• Role: Providing the education, leadership and support for my team of Design Consultants (DC) to be effective at generating new business, effectively and efficiently servicing client needs, and closing profitable sales. Responsible for achieving budget and sales targets through lead generation, close rate, order size and service recovery, as well as overseeing showroom team productivity and operations. Report directly to Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations. • Responsibilities o Build, develop, recruit and retain a winning team of active, aggressive entrepreneurial DC’s. o Meet sales hiring targets by continuously prospecting for new DC talent and utilizing designated recruiting service to source DCs where and when they are most needed or opportune o Instill accountability to individual DC sales/marketing activity, through daily interaction centered around constructive questioning & dialogue. Increasing success rate of DC prospecting by participating in their networking activities o Motivate & hold DC’s accountable to capturing sales opportunities through in-person community events, Strategic Business Partnerships, business-to-business and client relationships, and targeted neighborhood canvassing o Develop & refine sales skills and techniques through effective facilitation of weekly DC meetings, conference calls and weekly one-on-one’s o Educate sales team on products, service offerings, and newest promotions o Develop DC ability to increase self generated leads, close rate and average order size through in-field coaching o Identify prospective client markets/hotspots and help develop creative strategies for selling into them o Conduct annual appraisals of direct reports’ performance and take corrective action as required o Managed P&L of up to 5,000,000 annually • Key Achievements o Successfully managed up to 19 showrooms 32 DCs in California, Nevada, Missouri, Tennessee and Colorado and a staff of 102 employees consisting of inside and outside sales professionals and 15 installation companies o Promoted 15 direct reports to higher positions such as showroom manager, design consultant and lead customer care reps o Exceeded sales plans along with metric's goals consistently in a soft market o Experienced in opening new showroom locations. Additional experience in consolidation of retail locations / large layoffs o Successfully built many sales teams to be top performers. Maintained top revenue positions in the company o Helped develop sales programs and initiatives
