Daily Duties at Zygo Corporation:

Maintain, repair, and calibrate white light and laser interferometry nanotechnology equipment used in semiconductor, biomedical, aerospace, automotive, and military defense industries. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and flowcharts. Travel to customer sites nationwide including NASA, United States Air Force bases, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Medtronic and Cummings, University of Kentucky, University of Michigan, and University of Louisville. Interface with Electrical Engineers, Scientists, Professors, and Military Officers. Consult with customers regarding equipment layout, manage installation projects, and coordinate timelines with manufacturing for tool downtime. Maintain detailed documentation and prepare preventive maintenance reports. Perform onsite training and provide technical phone support to customers. Make recommendations for product improvement to Zygo Regional Supervisor, Electrical Engineers, and Technicians. Conduct inspections and issue customer equipment certifications for ISO 9000. Recognized by the University of Louisville and Zygo senior level management for outstanding customer service.
