Daily Duties at Ernst & Young :

Assisting Tax Manager in preparing 1065 Partnership Tax Returns .Handling other projects like estimating the profitability of an engagement by using Engagement Planning Tool with different scenarios and calculations.K-1 splitting, combining by partner ID & renaming. Prepared Engagement Letter, TELR Form, open codes for clients. Created WIP & TRAX Reports and prepared Budget to actual and checking for variances. Using Gosystem & Eforms for preparing the Extension Forms, Estimate Payment Forms with Filing Instructions. Prepared Novient Reports showing about the assignments and the personnel associated with it with time to be spent on each engagement. Special Projects like spreadsheet work with different scenarios, making reports for external parties to review .Tax basis calculation schedule. Creating Filing Instructions, Transmittal Letter, Assembly Instructions, Logging in the returns or forms for processing, fill out the dockets, printing the returns, creating the labels. Preparing Underlying k-1 aggregate template. Maintaining the ECF (database) creating target page, Import , Export and converting files , creating bookmarks, creating new tax folders, lock files, create PDF files of returns, Merging , inserting and deleting the PDF documents, saving the emails, updating and maintaining the data, Making PDF changes .Assisted in UBTI calculation
